Terry & Freddy

Adam Faith (then known as Terry Nelhams) had been spotted by Jack Good performing in the 2 I's with his skiffle group, The Worried Men.  Adam was given some opportunities on the Six-Five Special TV series and later on a short-lived stage show version.

He was not particuarly successful on either, but did meet up with John Barry's whose Seven were on the same bill.

That was to prove very useful later in 1959.  Meanwhile, Good, who had not lost Faith in him, despite the failures, got him to team up with ex-Vipers' Freddy Lloyd, and the duo performed "Go Tell Aunt Rhody" (The old gray goose is dead) as Terry & Freddy -- a strange choice for Oh Boy!.

Re-christened Adam Faith, and signed for BBC TV's Drumbeat, Faith then enjoyed a fantastic career, not only in the music business but also on stage, TV, film and occasionally in the financial world. His health was not always good following heart problems and a major car crash, and he died in 2003, following a heart-attack while on tour in a stage play, sithee.

Not much is known about Freddy Lloyd's career post-Oh Boy! at this stage.
